GNIDA launched a scheme to offer plots for commercial purpose

Application forms can be downloaded from the GNIDA website till October 8 and the last date for submitting them is October 12. The plots will be auctioned on October 25.

The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) launched a scheme to offer nine commercial plots.

A total of 31,328 sqmt of land is on offer and the Authority is expecting an investment of Rs 139 crore from the scheme.

Application forms can be downloaded from the GNIDA website till October 8 and the last date for submitting them is October 12. The plots will be auctioned on October 25.

“The commercial department of the Authority has launched a scheme under which nine plots will be offered for setting up commercial establishments such as malls, shopping complexes and hotels. These plots are located in sectors Delta 2, Gamma 2, Eta 1, P-4. Pi 1 and Sector 36,” said Narendra Bhooshan, the GNIDA CEO.

The reserve price of the plots — ranging between 7,455sqmt and 1,200sqmt — has been kept at Rs 44,250 per sqmt and Rs 46,190 per sqmt for two FARs. “The Authority will allot a total of 31,328 sqmt under this scheme. The total value of these plots, based on the reverse price, is around Rs 139 crore,” said Bhooshan.

Residents welcomed the move. “There is a need for shopping malls and complexes in sectors such as Gamma 2, Delta 2, Pi 1, etc. The allotments will help benefit many residents of the area,” said Surendra Bhati, a resident of Greater Noida.

On September 7, GNIDA had launched a scheme of 42 shops and 31 kiosks on offer.
