BuildMat is one of the largest biennial Construction Fairs in South India hosted by the Coimbatore centres of: The Builders’ Association of India, The Indian Institute of Architects and The Association of Consulting Civil Engineers. It is one of the biggest and most comprehensive expositions for the Construction Industry.
The ‘Big 3’ who hosted this event include The Builders’ Association of India (BAI) headquartered in Mumbai was started 75 years ago and has 63000 members in 130 centres across India today. Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), a national body of architects started in 1971, which has about 15,000 members today. IIA is represented on various national and international committees connected to architecture. The Association of Consulting Civil Engineers(I) started in 1985 has its headquarters in Bangalore and has a national presence of over 2500 members.

AEB Forum is the first of its kind in India and has been organizing the event BuildMat since 2009.
BuildMat 2025 Fair held at PSG Convention Centre and Trade Fair Ground, Neelambur, Coimbatore during 23rd January to 26th January 2025. More than 250 exhibitors have participated in this prestigious event.
BuildMat 2025 serves as a one stop solution for Architecture, Engineering and Constructions Professionals to update themselves with a wide range of Building Materials, Construction Technologies, Machinery and Equipment, Sanitary and Plumbing, Electrical and Lighting, Interiors and other needs of the realty sector.
Buildmat 2025, the 10th successful biennial construction fair hosted by the ‘Big 3’ was inaugurated by Honourable Minister Shri. V. Senthil Balaji, Minister for Electricity and Prohibition & Excise (Tamil Nadu). The Fair attracted more than 5000 professionals, decision makers and 30,000 potential business visitors from core construction industries and infrastructure driven businesses/organizations.
Along with this Mega Fair BuildMat 2025, Two Day Technical Seminar named as TECHTALK – 25 is also conducted. The seminar enabled participants to envision and direct future urban and architectural scenarios, latest construction techniques and engineering marvels. The subjects covered ranging from private developments to public space through lectures, workshops and panel discussion. The Invited speakers gave their presentations during the Seminar. More than 200 field engineers, 1500 Engineering and Architectural Students participated from in and around Coimbatore and its neighbouring districts.
BuildMat 2025 also provided a platform for B2B and B2C interactions around the construction ecosystem creating profitable opportunities and better exposure to global trends for both the industry players and end consumers.
