Akzo Nobel India’s net profit up 3.93% in Q2 FY25

Akzo Nobel India has reported a growth of 3.93 per cent in its net consolidated profit during the quarter ended September 30, 2024. Its profit after tax stood at Rs 97.90 crore in Q2 FY25 as against Rs 94.20 crore it registered in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, the company said in a BSE filing.

The company’s net consolidated total income stood at Rs 991.40 crore in Q2 FY25 a growth of 2.71 per cent from Rs 965.20 crore it recorded in the similar quarter last year.

Rajiv Rajgopal, chairman and managing director of the company said, “Topline growth was led by strong B2B performance across paints and coatings. While there has been an increase in raw material costs, we invested in growth and protected our double-digit profitability by optimizing operational expenses.”The board approved an interim dividend of Rs 70 per equity share for the financial year 2024-25.
