Aaiji Group has declared an investment of Rs 100 crore aimed at the development of affordable residential and commercial properties over the next two years along the Lothal-Dholera corridor, an area experiencing significant economic growth fueled by tourism, heritage, and industrial initiatives.
The National Maritime Heritage Complex at Lothal, which is set for a partial opening in 2025 and full completion by 2028, represents a crucial development that will generate employment for 2,000 individuals.
This complex will feature a Maritime University that will foster specialized education and support local industries. Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR) is swiftly becoming a prominent industrial center, with more than 100 companies, including Tata Electronics’ USD 10.9 billion semiconductor facility and NEXTGEN Hightech Semiconductor, contributing to the creation of thousands of skilled job opportunities and an increased demand for housing.
Infrastructure initiatives such as the Dholera Expressway, a new international airport, the Dedicated Freight Corridor, and the Vande Metro network, all anticipated by 2025, will improve connectivity to Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and national trade routes, thereby enhancing the economic and tourism prospects of the corridor.
