The Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) sold 10 properties out of 136 on offer in its e-auction which concluded on Tuesday, earning Rs 5.19 crore. Eight residential freehold properties out of 44 were successfully auctioned.
Of 92 commercial leasehold properties on offer, only two got bidders. Both are located in Sector 49B. Each having a reserve price of Rs 43.03 lakh fetched Rs 46.51 lakh.
In the residential segment, the highest price was fetched by a two-bedroom unit in Sector 51 A. It went for 1.03crore against a reserve price of Rs 95.34 lakh.
An EWS dwelling unit in Sector 38W was the cheapest property with a successful bid of Rs 25.49 lakh against a reserve price of Rs 25.47 lakh.
