The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) conducted an online auction on Thursday and Friday, during which five plots located in Shilaj, Chandkheda, Sola, and Vastral were sold. This transaction is anticipated to yield an income of Rs 473.7 crore for the corporation.
Out of the 13 plots offered for sale across various city locations, only five were successfully sold. As per the AMC’s estate department, Final Plot No. 93 in Shilaj (TP Scheme No. 216), designated for residential purposes with an area of 9,765 sq m and a base price of Rs 168.9 crore (Rs 1.7 lakh per sq m), was auctioned at Rs 1.7 lakh per sq m, resulting in an additional income of Rs 2.9 crore above the base price.
Final Plot No. 146 in Chandkheda-Zundal (TP Scheme No. 74), allocated for commercial use with an area of 1,615 sq m and a base price of Rs 1.98 lakh per sq m, was sold for just one rupee more than the base price, generating an income of Rs 31.97 crore. Final Plot No. 171 in Sola-Hebatpur (TP Scheme No. 41), reserved for commercial use with an area of 3,974 sq m and a total base price of Rs 111.6 crore (Rs 1.75 lakh per sq m), was sold at Rs 2.81 lakh per sq m, resulting in an additional income of Rs 42.1 crore over the base price.
Final Plot No. 172 in Sola-Hebatpur (TP Scheme No. 41), also reserved for commercial use with an area of 3,819 sq m and a total base price of Rs 109.2 crore (Rs 1.75 lakh per sq m), was auctioned at Rs 2.86 lakh per sq m, generating an additional income of Rs 42.39 crore above the base price.
Lastly, Final Plot No. 148 in Vastral (TP Scheme No. 114), designated for commercial use with an area of 5,900 sq m and a total base price of Rs 51.9 crore (Rs 86,000 per sq m), was sold at Rs 88,000 per sq m, resulting in an excess income of Rs 1.18 crore over the base price.
