Titagarh Rail Systems Limited (TRSL), a leading Indian rolling stock manufacturer, has received a Letter of Acceptance from NCC Limited for the design, manufacture, supply, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of 18 trainsets (108 metro coaches) for Mumbai Metro Line 6 [Swami Samarth Nagar to Vikhroli (EEH)] under the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).
The scope of the project also includes five years of comprehensive maintenance following a two-year defect liability period. The total order value stands at approximately ₹1,598.55 crore.
