Telangana RERA issues notice to three properties

Among those served notices is Swargaseema Sandalwood Farms Private Limited in Cherukupally, near Shadnagar for selling residential plots under the name of Swargaseema Suketana and carrying out extensive publicity without RERA registration.

The chairman of Telangana’s Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), N Satyanarayana, on Monday issued show cause notices to three projects in the city for violating provision of the RERA Act. They have been directed to respond within 15 days.

Among those served notices is Swargaseema Sandalwood Farms Private Limited in Cherukupally, near Shadnagar for selling residential plots under the name of Swargaseema Suketana and carrying out extensive publicity without RERA registration.

The JLL office in Salarpuria Sattva Knowledge Park in Madhapur has also been served a notice for “conducting real estate business activities without obtaining RERA registration…Moreover, a show cause notice was issued against the promoter for issuing the advertisement without showing the registration despite having obtained the RERA registration”.

Similarly, the Constella project in ORR Exit 14, Maheswaram, has also been issued a show cause notice due to non-registration on the website and not mentioning the registration number in the advertisement even though they have RERA registration.

“Real estate dealers must earn the confidence of buyers by obtaining RERA registration as per RERA Act,” said the chairman.
