Telangana govt to set up two new IT parks near Hyderabad

The Telangana govt is considering plans to set up two new IT parks on the lines of HITEC City on the outskirts of Hyderabad, Telangana IT & industries minister D Sridhar Babu said here on Tuesday.

He also said that with industries facing challenges in acquiring land, the govt plans to come up with a dedicated land allocation policy that will allocate land based on the scale of investment and the number of jobs to be created.

On the proposed IT parks, the minister stated that a detailed study is underway to ascertain the best locations for them and the extent of land they would require.”We are evaluating suitable areas on the city’s outskirts to ensure seamless connectivity and accessibility for employees and investors alike,” Sridhar Babu said at a high-level meeting with officials of US-headquartered Dew Software, which plans to invest 100 crore in its Hyderabad facility and generate 900 jobs over the next five years.

The minister said the proposed IT parks will be equipped with world-class infrastructure and amenities. “We will provide all necessary facilities, including robust transport systems, ensuring employees can commute conveniently from any part of the city,” he said.
