Sm@rtFAB is a factory-fabricated welded wire mesh, manufactured from cold-drawn wires using electric resistance fusion welding. It conforms to IS 1566, with steel properties as per IS 432 (Part II), ensuring consistency and reliability.

Unlike conventional TMT reinforcement – typically limited to 8, 10, and 12 mm diameters – Sm@rtFAB is available in a wide range of diameters (3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12mm). This enables engineers to select reinforcement closer to actual design requirements, avoiding unnecessary steel consumption.

In grade slabs, reinforcement is largely governed by shrinkage and temperature criteria. Sm@rtFAB enables optimal bar diameter and spacing selection, leading to tangible steel savings. As per IS 456 and SP 34, lap length for welded wire mesh is limited compared to TMT bars, further reducing steel quantity and binding wire usage.

Sm@rtFAB eliminates on-site bar cutting, bending, and spacing. Prefabricated mesh panels are supplied as per approved drawings, resulting in:
