Here are the excerpts from the interview.
1. TRG Group has built its identity around trust, transparency, and timely delivery. How do these values reflect in the ₹400 Cr TRG Mall project, and what can customers and investors expect from this landmark development?
The ₹400 Cr TRG Mall is a true reflection of our values of trust, transparency, and timely delivery. Customer trust has been integrated in all aspects of this iconic complex, right from open dialogue and transparent transactions. With best-in-class retail, entertainment, and lifestyle facilities, TRG Mall provides long-term investor returns and a value-added experience to end-users. It is not just a business address but a destination that provides us with our assurance of quality, innovation, and green city living. We intend to re-establish industry standards, reaffirming TRG Group as a reliable developer that gets things done when we say we will get things done.
2. TRG group was founded on the principles of trust and transparency. How do these values continue to influence your decision-making and project execution today?
Trust and transparency form the basis of our day-to-day decision-making and implementation plans. We practice open communication with the stakeholders, uphold ethical conduct, and maintain accountability at every level from land acquisition to project completion. This builds trust, strengthens client relationships, and fuels long-term growth. Inside, our members are authorized to make decisions consistent with our values, and thus integrity of purpose remains uncompromised. Externally, our customers and partners are kept fully in the loop, on time, with no surprises, and with transparent processes. Such values not only create brand loyalty but also encourage operating excellence and long-term success within a competitive real estate landscape.
3. Your leadership has focused on closing the customer expectation vs. developer commitment gap. How do you maintain alignment in all TRG Group projects?
We start by listening to the needs of our customers, whether it is affordability, location, amenities, or upfront possession. Each TRG Group development is followed by market research and design through feedback to make sure that we do what we promise. We synchronize across all the touchpoints of the customer with close coordination among sales, marketing, and project delivery teams. Clarity of paperwork, open communication, and commitment toward after-sales service also provide peace of mind. Involving customers’ feedback at the planning stage and using digital technology for progress tracking, we coordinate delivery with expectations. Being accountable to ourselves and being thoughtful makes us gain trust and earn loyalty.

4. With rapid urbanization and digital disruption, what trends do you believe will most significantly reshape India’s real estate landscape in the next 5–10 years?
The Indian realty sector of the decade ahead will change, thanks to three trends: digitalization, green building, and larger cities. PropTech technologies such as AI-powered sales platforms, virtual property tours, and blockchain for documentation will make processes more efficient and transparent by automating them. Sustainability will be the buzzword, with green building and sustainable design practices becoming imminent. Finally, urbanization will be steered away from metro India and toward Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities as the next better-housed hubs with improved infrastructure, affordability, and government subsidization. Apart from this, professionals in construction should be able to reimagine house construction in digital, consumer-first, and climate-resilient ways within a short time span to survive and create sustainable future value.
5. How is the rise of Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities impacting developer strategies and investment priorities across the country?
Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities are no longer on the edge; these are next-gen Indian real estate’s growth drivers. As more people migrate to cities and improved infrastructure and housing initiatives are implemented by the government, these cities present gargantuan opportunities for developers to leverage. We at TRG Group are proactively expanding our footprint in these markets, developing products responsive to local aspirations and yet retaining affordability and quality. Our investment strategy today interweaves high-growth city clusters and micro-emerging markets, allowing us to reach first-generation purchasers and end-users. It has also led us to reimagine pricing, design, and marketing such that projects connect strongly with the changing aspirations of Bharat’s next-generation homeowners.
6. In today’s real estate ecosystem, how pivotal is the integration of sustainability, smart technology, and customer-centric design in driving long-term value?
People today are not just searching for an empty shell; they need handsome-looking, smart, and sustainable living spaces. Sustainable integration reduces the burden on the environment, along with reducing long-term upkeep costs. TRG group incorporates green building techniques, energy-efficient systems, and home technologies that optimize livability and future-proof our developments. Space planning, amenities, and lifestyle complement customer-focused design for optimized satisfaction and loyalty. Technology also enhances convenience, security, and connectivity. When all the above are combined, they not only optimize value for a project but also build better integrated communities. Our view is that the future is for developers who put the planet, people, and purpose ahead of profit.
