The Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) will on Saturday hold public meetings to hear objections or suggestions for two draft town planning (TP) schemes proposed in Vadadala and Tarsali areas.
The TP scheme 58 in Vadadala has been proposed on an area of 389 hectares. The scheme includes 12 metre, 30 metre and 75 metre wide TP scheme roads. The civic body will get 7,31,556 square meter land for the roads.
The Vadadala scheme will also ensure that the VMC gets 22 plots for housing for the economically weaker sections (EWS), 31 plots for public use, 91 plots that can be sold for housing or commercial purposes and 29 plots for open spaces, gardens or playgrounds. These 173 plots total 8,69,261 square meter.
The TP scheme 52 in Tarsali is proposed on a land area of 245.43 hectares. The VMC will get land totaling 4,22,291 square meters for the development of roads.
The TP roads with a width of 12 metre, 30 metre and 75 metre will connect the national highway. The civic body will also get 106 plots reserved for EWS housing, public use, sale for commercial and residential.
