Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra and brother Siddharth Chopra,has recently rented out a property measuring 4,800 square feet (445.9 square meters) in Koregaon Park, Pune, for a monthly rental fee of ₹2.25 lakh. According to documents from the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) reviewed by Square Yards, the transaction involved a stamp duty payment of ₹39,000 and registration fees of ₹1,000.
This lease was officially registered in February 2025. The registration document indicates a security deposit of ₹13.5 lakh, along with a lock-in period of 36 months for the lease agreement.
The lease agreement specifies an annual rent escalation of 5%, with the monthly rent starting at ₹2.25 lakh and being ₹2.73 lakh in the fifth year. Over the five-year lease term, the total rental income is expected to amount to ₹1.49 crore.
The Chopras acquired the same property in August 2017 for Rs. 5.6 crore. Consequently, the annual rental yield for the first year is expected to be 4.8%, with a projected increase to 5.86% by the fifth year.
