Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday inaugurated India’s first Vande Bharat metro, now known as Namo Bharat Rapid Rail, service between Bhuj and Ahmedabad. The train will stop at nine stops – Anjar, Gandhidham, Bhachau, Samakhiali, Halvad, Dhrangadhra, Viramgam, Chandlodiya, and Sabarmati. The minimum fare will be Rs 30, inclusive of GST. The standard child fare policies will be in effect.
The Bhuj-Ahmedabad Metro, is scheduled to depart at 5:05 AM and arrive in Ahmedabad at 10:50 AM, taking 5 hours and 45 minutes to complete the route. Similarly, Ahmedabad-Bhuj Metro will travel back that day, leaving Ahmedabad at 5:30 PM and arriving in Bhuj at 11:10 PM, taking five hours and forty minutes total.

– The Namo Bharat Rapid Rail offers Divyangjan-friendly toilets
– It also offers amenities like emergency communication system that allows passengers to speak directly with the driver when needed
– For the convenience and protection of its passengers, the train is outfitted with mobile charging ports, automatic entry/exit doors and CCTV cameras are fitted
– To enhance the journey even further, the Namo Rapid Rail has modular restrooms with a vacuum evacuation system
– The KAVACH train anti-collision system, and large panoramic sealed windows with roller shades
