Two persons, residents of Amravati Enclave and Sector 2, Panchkula, were duped of Rs 23.17 lakh and Rs 20.65 lakh, respectively, for providing an apartment in the Pinjore-Kalka Urban Complex by a private builder.A case of fraud has been registered against 12 builders.
The first complaint was given to the cops by Pawan, a resident of Hollyhock Block, Amravati Enclave, Panchkula. He reported to the police that he met Lalit Goyal, Madhukar Tulsi, Anupam Nagalia, Jaibharat Aggarwal, Varun Khanna and Vinita Juneja, all residents of Gurugram, and Shailendra Kumar Agrawal, Anil Aggarwal, Amrick Singh Gambhir, Raj Agrawal, Avinash Agrawal and Aman Malhotra, all residents of New Delhi.
The complainant said he booked a plot measuring 375 square yards with consideration of Rs 92,69,000 in a residential colony named Ireo Fiveriver Project after meeting all the accused persons. He alleged that he had paid Rs 23,17,250 to the accused persons till date.
Similarly, another complaint was moved by Vir Bhan Garg, a resident of Sector 2, Panchkula. He reported to the cops that he had paid Rs 20.65 lakh to Ireo Fiverriver till date, but the project was pending, and the accused persons were not returning his money despite multiple requests.The police have registered a case.
