Shaheed Path will soon be connected to Kisan Path soon. Notably, the Lucknow Development Authority is going to undertake the construction of a 4-lane road on both sides of the Gomti river for the same.
According to the Vice-Chairman of LDA- Akash Tripathi, this 7-km long stretch of road will offer a smooth and convenient transit between these two areas. Read on to know more about this road development work coming up in Lucknow.
4-lane road to be built with a budget of ₹300 crores
With a budget of ₹300 crores, the construction work of this connecting 4-lane road is expected to begin soon. As per reports, the district development authority of Lucknow has formed a special team for the same. Under the ambit of this project, the Green Corridor is to be constructed between IIM road to Shaheed Path in the first phase. Out of the total budget set aside for this project, around ₹180 crores will be spent on land acquisition, suggest reports.
Upon completion, this project will act as a boon for residents of more than 12 villages on this route. Apart from offering better connectivity, it will also open the doors for better employment opportunities and the development of these remote areas.
