PIU project director and NHAI, Bhubaneswar have further requested extension of time for closure of Kathajodi Middle Bridge, Cuttack for completion of rehabilitation works for a period of 31 days w.e.f.01.07.2022 to 31.07.2022 on N.H-16 and have requested for diversion of traffic.
In order to facilitate the maintenance works for the benefit of the commuters, there is need for diversion of the vehicles for free flow of traffic at the aforementioned road on NH-16 and the approaching roads for safety and security of commuters.
All the vehicles on NH-16 corning from Bhubaneswar side intending to go towards Cuttack side shall not ply on the Kathajodi Middle Bridge. These vehicles shall be diverted towards left side bridge at Gopalapur Tarini Temple Chink.
All the vehicles coming from Urali and Kajipatna side intending to go to Cuttack side shall be diverted through LHS Bridge. From Kathajodi LHS Bridge, those vehicles intending to go inside Cuttack city / Orissa High Court Chhak shall take right turn over Manimandir VUP.
