After the successful e-auction of a 5.6-acre land parcel at Alipore for a whooping Rs 400 crore and receiving a bid of Rs 203 crore for a 6.2-acre plot for a housing project in Rajarhat earlier this year, Hidco has now come up with plans to e-auction a 7.4acre land on BL Saha Road in Tollygunge.
The authorities have fixed a starting bid price of Rs 125 crore, at Rs 17 crore for per acre. The e-auction has been scheduled on on January 11.
The state intends to auction the plot on a 99-year leasehold basis for residential use. The authorities may consider renewal or extension of the lease period beyond 99 years as per the government’s land allotment policy with renewed terms and conditions.
