Display of Building plan must at sites, says Hyderabad civic body

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has now made it mandatory for individuals and builders to display the sanctioned plan at construction sites.

A condition with regards to the same is also imposed in the building permit order issued to the applicant.

The decision to act tough against individuals and builders resorting to illegal constructions came after the civic body formed zonal-wise task force teams.

As on date, though the clause is mentioned in the building permit rules, very few builders were found to be following it. “Action would be initiated against those violating the norms by not displaying the sanctioned plan,” the GHMC order read.
