Dilip Buildcon (DBL), via its joint venture DBL-RBL JV, has been identified as the L-1 bidder for the Metro construction contract in Haryana. The contract, which is valued at Rs 1,503.63 crore, has been granted by Gurugram Metro Rail (GMRL).
The project entails the construction of a viaduct and 14 elevated stations from Millennium City Centre to Sector 9 (inclusive) from chainage (-) 381 m to 12,603 m, a spur to Dwarka Expressway (1.85 km), and a ramp to the Depot at Sector 33, along with an underpass at Bhaktawar Chowk, excluding PEB and architectural finishing works.
The Gurugram Metro Corridor spans 26.65 km between Millennium City Centre and Cyber City, with an additional spur of 1.85 km from Basai Village to Dwarka Expressway, totaling 27 stations. The construction will cover a distance of 15.22 km. The project is expected to be completed within 30 months.
This initiative represents a substantial enhancement to Gurugramās infrastructure, improving urban connectivity and is anticipated to alleviate congestion while increasing accessibility between major commercial and residential areas.
