Since land records are very crucial for handling registration deeds, the government has decided to go for complete digitisation.

“We are planning to digitise about 15 crore documents under the new initiative,” inspector general of registrations and stamps department, V Ramakrishna told.

The registration department is also experimenting a new software application in SROs, Kankipadu and Renigunta.

Upon completion, the modification of the application based on feedback, the application will be rolled out in the state.

It is being in test check in SROs, Kankipadu and Renigunta and shared the feedback with developer. After completion of the pilot project and modification of the application based on feedback, the application will be rolled out in the state,” said Ramakrishna.
