ACC, part of Adani Group, has reported a decline of 48.52 per cent in its net consolidated profit during the quarter ended September 30, 2024. Its profit after tax stood at Rs 199.70 crore in Q2 Fy25 as against Rs 387.88 crore it registered in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing.
The company’s net consolidated total income stood at Rs 4,772.11 crore in Q2 FY25, a growth of 2.74 per cent from Rs 4,644.75 crore it recorded in the similar quarter last year.
Its volume increased by 15% year-on-year supported by increase in trade volumes and higher premium product volumes (14% year-on-year).”Overall, industry expects improvement in demand in H2 FY 2025, which is likely to be driven by post monsoon pickup in construction and housing activity. We expect cement demand to register growth of 4-5% during FY 2025,” the company said in a media release.
