Haryana Chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar will inaugurate three road infrastructure projects of the Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority (FMDA) on Friday.
The FMDA has completed the upgradation of a total of 5km main carriageways in Sector 11/12 (Court Road), Sector 15/16 and YMCA Road.
These four-lane cement concrete roads will provide improved ridership quality to residents.
Work on construction of footpaths, cycle tracks and laying of drainage network is in progress on these roads. The total work has been executed at a cost of around Rs 34 crore.
MLA Neeraj Sharma on Thursday raised the issue related to water supply in Surya Devta Colony and Dabua in NIT constituency during the core planning committee meeting of FMDA.
FMDA CEO issued instructions that the water supply by water pipeline connected to the 20-lakh liter underground tank in Surya Devta colony be started immediately to supply increased and uninterrupted water to over 35,000 residents of Dabua colony and adjoining areas immediately.
“FMDA is working towards development of infrastructure and improving civic amenities in the city for the benefit of the public at large. Concrete action will be taken on citizen grievances and work is being planned and executed in a phased manner,” said CEO Sudhir Rajpal.
