Three more cases were registered against the director of Ansal API at Sushant Golf City police station in Lucknow.
So far, 32 cases have been registered against Ansal API and its owners in various police stations across the city.
Shailendra Singh of Indiranagar said he fixed a deal for a villa in Ansal for Rs 64 lakh.
He also paid an advance of Rs 19.79 lakh to the company between Feb 3, 2014, and Oct 11, 2014. When Shailendra went to Ansal for registration and discussed it, the company’s chairman, Pranav Ansal, and president marketing, Rajesh Rao, threatened to kill him and drove him away.Similarly, Cantt resident Mukesh Kumar Pathak said he paid Rs 32.98 lakh to Ansal for three plots in his and his wife Neelam Pathak’s name. The company kept making him run around for years in the name of registration of the plots.
Asha Tiwari, a resident of Gonda Mankapur, alleged that she booked a plot from Ansal in 2011. The company employees promised to give her the registry and possession of the plot in 2013, but that did not happen. She paid Rs 10.71 lakh to the company for the plot, said Sushant Golf City inspector, Anjani Mishra.
