16 new properties to be opened across India by the hospitality firm Sarovar Hotels by the end of 2019. As a part of the expansion plan, these properties will add 970 rooms to Sarovar Hotel’s portfolio. At present, the company is handling 6,000 rooms with 73 hotels in India and three overseas.
Ajar Bakaya, the Managing Director of Sarovar Hotels said that these 16 hotels will be under various brands like Sarovar Portico, Sarovar Premiere, and Hometel Suites. Some of the locations of these hotels will be Ahmedabad, Goa, Junagadh, Dehradun, Bengaluru, Dindi, Udaipur, Dahisar, Bodh Gaya, Dibrugarh, Morbi and Jammu among others. He also added that out of the 16 new hotels, the majority will be under the Sarivar Portico brand, while one in Bodh Gaya will be under the Sarovar Portico brand and the other one at Dahisar will be under Hometel Suites brand.
He also stated that due to the advancement in technology, the hospitality sector has bloomed diversely in the last two years, helping the sector to reach out to its target audience. On the growth roadmap for the sector going forward, Bakaya said that there are many new opportunities in a developing, aspiring India, especially with huge domestic travel.
Sarovar Hotels and Resorts is a hotel management company that helps in setting up new hotels and manages its hotels under long term management contracts.
