The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has revealed a new residential plot scheme adjacent to the forthcoming Noida International Airport. This initiative is anticipated to be launched in January.
As part of the scheme, the Authority will provide 973 residential plots with sizes of 162, 183, 184, 200, 223, and 290 square meters. These plots will be situated in Sectors 15C, 18, and 24A, all of which are conveniently located near the airport, which is expected to commence operations shortly.
The scheme includes 476 plots of 162 square meters, 4 plots of 183 square meters, 4 plots of 184 square meters, 481 plots of 200 square meters, 6 plots of 223 square meters, and 2 plots of 290 square meters.
A total of 17.5% of the plots have been allocated for farmers whose land has been acquired, while 5% of the plots are reserved for individuals with operational industrial units in the Yamuna City area; the remaining 77.5% of the plots are designated for the general public. Additionally, the scheme will feature reservations for farmers and industrialists who currently possess industrial plots in Yamuna City and have made their units operational.
The CEO of the Authority, RK Singh, stated that they are in the process of obtaining registration from the UP real estate regulatory authority, which is a prerequisite for launching any housing scheme. Applicants will need to pay 10 percent of the plot cost as registration money to enter the lucky draw, which will select the successful allottees.
YEIDA will allow a one-month period for registrations, after which allotment letters will be distributed and possession will be granted. With the airport poised to enhance connectivity, the surrounding regions are likely to experience an increase in commercial activities, job opportunities, and an influx of population.
