Rs. 5,700cr worth 4-lane roads to be laid in Gorakhpur

In a two-day tour of Gorakhpur district from Sunday, chief minister Yogi Adityanath will participate in various programmes related to sports, industries, social issues and infrastructure development.

Chief minister Yogi Adityanath will pay a two-day visit to Gorakhpur starting Sunday to lay the foundation stone and inaugurate various developmental projects worth crores of rupees.

On Sunday, the CM will attend the closing ceremony of Sansad Khel Spardha at GD Inter College at Dighwa in Kaudiram. Bansgaon MP Kamlesh Paswan will also be present on the occasion. On the same day, he will inaugurate Ankur Industries Ltd’s integrated steel plant in Sector-23 in GIDA, which will give a boost to industrial development in the district. Ankur Industries Ltd director Nikhil Jalan, with the cooperation of district administration, has made all arrangements to welcome the chief minister.

On Monday, CM Yogi, accompanied by union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, will lay the foundation stone for four-lane projects worth Rs 5700 crore. The inauguration programme by NHAI, will be organised at Mahant Digvijaynath Memorial Park in Ramgarhtal area. The CM and the union minister will lay foundation of four lane roads, Jungle Kaudia-Sonouli road, Jungle Kaudia-Jagdishpur (Gorakhpur ring road bypass), Ramjanki road and Maharajganj-Nichloul-Thoothibari road. He will also attend a programme at Shri Chitragupt Mandir Sabha at Buxipur, where he will inaugurate various tourism development works.
