Lodha Developers sells 24.34-acre land in Mumbai

Lodha Developers has finalized the sale of a 24.34-acre land parcel located in Mumbai’s Palava region to STT Global Data Centres (STT GDC), a company based in Singapore, for approximately Rs 500 crore.

This land will contribute to a larger integrated data centre park spanning 370 acres, which is being developed in collaboration with the Maharashtra government. The park is designed to accommodate multiple facilities with a total capacity of around two GW.

The initiative aims to draw both domestic and international technology firms and is projected to create employment opportunities for approximately 6,000 individuals, backed by an investment of Rs 30,000 crore.

STT GDC, recognized for its energy-efficient data centres throughout Asia, will establish top-tier infrastructure that prioritizes cloud storage, high-performance computing, and enterprise solutions, all while focusing on sustainability.

This transaction signifies Lodha’s strategic transition towards large-scale infrastructure and digital economy initiatives, thereby enhancing its position within India’s swiftly evolving digital infrastructure sector.
