The Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) has called upon residents to settle their property tax by April 30 in order to benefit from a special 10% discount. Officials indicated that starting May 1, the discount will decrease to 8% for online transactions and 6% for offline transactions.
Residents are encouraged to utilize online payment methods to avoid congestion, with convenient options available via WhatsApp links, the LMC website (lmc.up.nic.in), SMS links, and at HDFC and Axis bank branches.
For those opting for offline payments, an 8% discount can be availed at cash counters in zonal offices. Municipal Commissioner Manoj Kumar highlighted that the revenue generated will contribute to enhancing the city’s infrastructure and urged residents to participate in efforts to create a cleaner, more attractive, and smarter city.
