The latest auction of the Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) properties turned out to be another damp squib, with only three out of the 116 properties finding takers.
The CHB had floated e-tenders to auction 116 freehold residential and leasehold commercial properties.
Three residential freehold properties were sold and not a single bidder for 88 leasehold commercial properties came forward.
The total reserve price of the three properties sold was Rs 79.12 lakh, the sale of which made the CHB earn Rs 80.12 lakh.
The CHB has been successful in selling one EWS in Sector-38 West and two category-4 flats in Indira Colony.
