IndoSpace plans to invest over Rs 500 crore in a 66-acre logistics park located in Bhiwandi, near Mumbai, thereby enhancing its warehousing presence with more than 1.7 million sq. ft. of space.
This initiative underscores the companyās enduring commitment to Maharashtra, where it has previously invested close to Rs 3,000 crore. The new logistics park, strategically positioned near the Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi Expressway, will serve various sectors including e-commerce, FMCG, automotive, and third-party logistics.
It will offer both ready-to-move and build-to-suit facilities that comply with ESG standards, thereby promoting green infrastructure.
IndoSpaceās total development across India now surpasses 60 million sq. ft., supporting over 150 companies and aligning with national initiatives such as PM Gati Shakti and Make in India. This investment is made in the context of a 42 percent year-on-year increase in logistics leasing throughout India, with Mumbai alone contributing 7.5 million sq. ft. in the first half of 2025. Bhiwandi continues to be a vital warehousing center due to its close proximity to Mumbai, Thane, and Pune.
