HMDA’s official suspended for faulty TDRs

Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority also called for an explanation from the planning officer of the zone concerned.

 The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has suspended BV Krishna Kumar, assistant planning officer, for processing the files for issuing transferable development rights (TDR) without verifying the ownership documents and without conducting site inspections.

According to HMDA officials, an individual, Sravan Kumar, filed an application for TDR claiming that their land in an extent of 11,698 square yards in survey Nos. 330 and 332 in Puppalguda in Shankarpally zone was gifted to Puppalguda gram panchayat under gift settlement and the same was registered with the registration department.

He requested for issuing TDR for the land affected for formation of 100 ft road.

After an enquiry, the HMDA suspended Kumar for processing them without any verification and site inspection.
