Brigade Hotel Ventures (BHVL), recognized as the second-largest private proprietor of chain-affiliated hotels in South India, has entered into a significant multi-deal agreement with Marriott International to establish six hotels comprising a total of 940 rooms in Chennai, Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, and Vaikom Island.
This expansion will encompass five brands under Marriott Bonvoy ā The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Courtyard by Marriott, and Fairfield by Marriott.
The developments include the “Courtyard by Marriott Chennai World Trade Center,” which will feature 45 rooms by FY 2027, and the “Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru International Airport,” which will offer 224 rooms by FY 2028, along with the “Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Brigade Valencia,” which will have 151 rooms by FY 2028. Additionally, “The Ritz-Carlton Vaikom Island” is set to include 70 villas, with a target completion by FY 2029, while “JW Marriott Chennai OMR” will provide 250 rooms by FY 2030, and the “Thiruvananthapuram Marriott Hotel World Trade Center” will feature 200 rooms by FY 2030.
