The Assam Cabinet has approved setting up of an Industrial Park including a Smart township in Hajo. Cabinet has also allotted land for the establishment of “Mega Industrial Parks” in Kamrup and Morigaon districts

To safeguard the rights of students enrolled in coaching centres and provide them with necessary protection, guidance and academic support, Cabinet has approved enactment of the “Assam Coaching Institutes (Control & Regulation) Act, 2025”

The cabinet stated five ADTCs are being constructed in the State currently which are expected to be operational in the next 5 months- Dibrugarh, Nagaon, Biswanath, Barpeta and Kamrup Rural

The cabinet has announced Lieutenant General (retd)Rana Pratap Kalita while will awarded with Assam Baibhav. Former CEO and MD of Tata Consultancy Services Subramanian Ramadorai will be awarded with Assam Saurav award.
