India’s one of the leading manufacturers of earthmoving and construction equipment JCB India showcased a wide range of new, smart technology driven machines at the Excon 2019.
On the back of Excon 2019 theme – ‘Smart i-tech @75’, JCB India showcased its strong focus on digitisation and innovation. The company leveraged the integration of Big Data and Internet of Things in its products and services at the event.
The new intelligent products which are put on display included the new ecoXpert 3DX backhoe loader, which comes with 12 percent improved mileage capability and it also offers up to 22 percent lower maintenance costs. The new 3DX also comes loaded with JCB’s ‘Intellij Performance’ and ‘IntelliDig’ technology, which is claimed to give customers real-time information about the performance of the machine.
The company has made significant investments in its excavator range. The company showcased its intelligent NXT range of machines in the 14T to 24.5T category and the Quarry Master range in the 14T to 38T category. It has thus reinforced its commitment to being a full range infrastructure equipment partner.
JCB Telehandler a product that leads across the world has also been upgraded to all new global side new design. It will continue to pioneer in the material handling segment with the new range of global tele handlers together.
All new jcb machines exhibit a seamless blend of technology and digital innovation in terms of design performance efficiency and safety.

‘The next level ‘NXT’ series from 14T to 24.5T and the Quarry Master range of Excavators from 14T to 38T now offers a wide range of options to our customers to choose from. We have pioneered the Material Handling segment with our range of Telehandlers and Skid Steers; the new range of Telehandlers with the global side engine layout and height from 7m to 18m have also been launched along with a new range of Skid Steers. Mini Excavators are gaining popularity in select applications and we have made our range even more comprehensive in the 3T to 6T range’, he further added.
He believes that Smart technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and next-generation construction equipment will play an important role in achieving the $5 Trillion economy target for the country.
At Excon, JCB India will also be displaying their range of smart solutions in Parts and Product Support, which are providing comprehensive solutions to India’s Earthmoving and Construction needs.
