The government of Andhra Pradesh headed by Jagan Mohan Reddy is set to launch yet another ambitious scheme in the state. The program will be launched on November 14, on the occasion of the Children’s Day.
As per the scheme, all public schools will be modernized. The existing school buildings are photographed and placed in front of the public. Afterwards, the photos of the schools are refurbished. The government is ready to spend 6000 crores for the next four years to the scheme.
It was decided that the scheme should be done in a community contracting manner rather than with private contractors. The community contracting system is being implemented for the first time in the country.
